CBI Professional Bonsai pots are made of purple clay and are handmade in a form.
The pottery has drainage holes in the bottom of the pot, in addition to decorative legs that also help water to drain from under the pots after watering. Some of the shallow pots have wiring holes to hold the Bonsai tree from falling over before it get established
The Bonsai pots are high-fired, 2,400 Deg Fahrenheit. This makes them very durable and frost resistant. These pots will not deteriorate if left outside.
The pottery comes in many colors; the more common colors are brown and dark gray. The traditional pottery shapes for Bonsai are, rectangle, oval, square, round and cascade. We also offer other shapes; hexagonal, lotus and semi-cascade.
